In 1955, members of Disciples churches in the central and NW areas of Oklahoma came together and organized land, resources and facilities for the beginning of what is now Central Christian Camp & Conference Center.  Beginning with 40 acres and a pond for the benefit of a church camp for Disciples’ youth.  Over the years the camp has grown to nearly 300 acres, 4 ponds and many recreational facilities.  From offering tent camping only, to lodging and conference facilities for 200+ people, we have grown immensely.  We continue to host Disciples events as well as host many other denominations, religions, non profit and government organizations, as well as family reunion, birthday parties, and weddings.

In the late ‘70s and early ‘80s Central Christian Camp began hosting and directing camps for persons with special needs.  This has grown into a premier program called Make Promises Happen (MPH) and serves individuals locally, statewide and regionally.  This program is one of the largest in the nation that serves all ages 6 and older with all types of special needs and includes off-site excursions.

Many generous people throughout the state have contributed time, talent and resources to help grow CCC.   We are extremely grateful to both those who have done so in the past and to those who continue to step up to the task.
